As a source means,"green design" plays a vital role in achieving sustainable development and practicing the concept of ecological civilization. In order to spread green design concepts and methods, promote exchanges among various industries, fields and countries, and ultimately achieve the sustainable development goals, the World Green Design Organization has jointly launched a case collection activity for the "2023 World Green Design Report".
Solicitation content
Cases are collected globally, including but not limited to the following industry fields: energy, construction, building materials, textiles, consumer electronics, transportation, cities, landscape, agriculture, business models, green finance, new materials, etc. All cases must reflect the guiding role of the "green design" concept, comprehensively consider the impact of environment, economy, society and technology, and embody the green design concept throughout the entire life cycle of case implementation.

The reported cases must describe the reported projects from the perspective of "green design", fully reflecting the leading, means, and structural role played by the "green design" concept in the entire life cycle of the project.
1. Environmental requirements
How to apply the "green design" concept in the production, implementation, use, operation and other processes of the project will effectively reduce the impact on the environment and risks to human health and safety. The following aspects can be considered: resource consumption, energy consumption, waste generation, ecological damage and reduction of impacts on health and safety.
2. Economic requirements
How to apply the concept of "green design" during project production and implementation to help enterprises or investors achieve economic growth. For example, we can consider the use of cost-effective green materials, improvement of production process technology, equipment transformation, investment in human resources, and recycling of resources.
3. Social requirements
During the production and implementation of the project, the design content not only basically meets the environmental and cost needs, but also takes into account the needs and expectations of the recipients. Green design is integrated into all aspects of reproduction, distribution, exchange, and consumption to achieve environmental friendliness. purpose.
4. Technical requirements
The project production and implementation process has the overall functionality of a green design system. Consider the durability, upgradability, maintainability, reconstructability, disassembly, etc. of each component (product), whether there is a user manual, and whether a systematic normative after-sales service and recycling system has been established to meet the requirements of reuse and recycling.

Case submissions must be recommended and submitted by the World Green Design Organization accreditation body. Independent submissions by individuals or enterprises will not be accepted unless individual invitations are received. The deadline for case solicitation is: April 15, 2023, 16:00 pm (Beijing time).

The World Green Design Organization will organize domestic and foreign experts to review the reported cases, and finally select no more than 500 typical cases and compile them into a book. And analyze and interpret key cases. The report will be released globally during the World Green Design Forum.

the second phase: Result approval (5~June)
Authoritative experts from around the world in the fields of climate change, ecological environment, design, and finance conduct a comprehensive review of the application results and draw a list of annual selected cases. The selected companies and designers will be listed as candidates for the World Green Design Contribution Award and the World Green Design Award. The list will not be made public until it is officially released.
the third stage: Release preparations (6~October)
The organizer notified the selected case companies and promoters, provided the audio and video materials needed for release, and cooperated with relevant work on the release site.
the fourth stage: Results released (during the World Green Design Forum)
The organizers will hold a report conference during the 2023 World Green Design Forum to release annual green design cases.
Representatives of outstanding cases will be invited to attend the meeting to share successful experiences of green design, communicate with each other, and discuss how to use green design methods to further promote green development, achieve double carbon goals, and achieve sustainable development.
Report publicity
During the preparation of the report, multiple case sharing seminars will be held and nationwide publicity will be carried out. Selected cases will be released through the official media platform of the World Green Design Forum, the cooperation media and live broadcast platform of the World Green Design Conference, overseas media platforms, and the cooperative media partner platform of the World Green Design Organization.
