##Notice on the Collection of Advanced Green and Low-Carbon Technologies (Equipment) in the Pesticide Industry for 2023 To all relevant entities: To thoroughly implement the national “dual carbon” strategic plan, enhance the green and low-carbon development level of the pesticide industry, and advance innovation and demonstration applications of key green and low-carbon technologies, the China Pesticide Industry Association is seeking advanced green and low-carbon technologies (equipment) from its member units and various sectors of society. The best candidates will be promoted within the pesticide industry to encourage adoption of green and low-carbon development practices. The relevant details are as follows:

II. Principles for Submission

The application for this initiative follows a voluntary basis. This activity is part of the Responsible Care public welfare programs in the pesticide industry and does not charge any fees. The technical (equipment) information and application cases submitted must be true, legal, and valid.

III. Eligibility Criteria

1. Eligible applicants: Pesticide manufacturers, suppliers of environmental protection technologies and equipment, etc.
2. Scope of solicitation: New technologies, equipment, processes, and products (including comprehensive solutions and services) applicable to the pesticide industry in areas such as energy conservation and emission reduction, clean production, resource recycling, treatment of “three wastes,” and soil remediation.
3. Requirements for submission: (1) The applying entity should have maintained normal business operations over the past three years, with no significant records of dishonesty or other illegal activities; (2)The related technologies (equipment) have no intellectual property disputes and meet the green and low-carbon development needs of the pesticide industry. They offer significant economic, environmental, and social benefits as well as high promotion value. (3)As of the application deadline, the application cases in the pesticide industry have been operating stably for over 1 year without any issues related to safety or quality.

IV. Purposes of the Collection

1. Included in the “2023 List of Advanced Green and Low-Carbon Technologies (Equipment) in China’s Pesticide Industry,” and promoted during related conferences such as the “2023 China Pesticide Industry Responsibility Care Conference, the 8th National Pesticide Industry Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Meeting, and the 10th Pesticide Enterprise Safety Production Management Training Course.”
2. Recommended to member units of the China Pesticide Industry Association through its member cooperation platform based on merit.
3. Engaged in strategic brand development partnerships on a selective basis.
4. Highly qualified candidates will be recommended for the China Pesticide Innovation Contribution Award.

V. Requirements for Submission Materials

(I) Entities applying for green and low-carbon advanced technologies (equipment) should fill out the “2023 Pesticide Industry Green and Low-Carbon Advanced Technologies (Equipment) Application Form” in detail (see attachment). The form requires a comprehensive description of the low-carbon development goals, the scope of application of the technology, relevant use cases, implementation results, demonstration effects, as well as economic, environmental, and social benefits. Relevant visual materials must also be attached, including 3–5 photos with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi, and no more than 3 videos, each not exceeding 3 minutes in length.
