This competition chose "Breaking Boundaries" as the theme of the competition, aiming to guide designers to look beyond the field and pay attention to experiential design in their works. Use new technologies and new materials to make ultra-experience designs that exceed user expectations. The continuous development of technology helps us better realize some design concepts and turn them into reality, allowing people to truly gain value from good designs, and even Through the development of technology reduces the cost of design, the maturity of design technology also provides designers with more imagination space and wings, giving them the confidence and conditions to create more good designs, allowing more people to enjoy the value brought by design.

Competition content and requirements:

Contestants should choose real space as the creative theme, focus on various living environment spaces associated with experiential design, base themselves on urban and rural construction and renewal, take building green homes and adhering to low-carbon environmental protection as the design concepts, and promote the green and sustainable development of urban and rural areas under the vision of carbon peak construction. Contestants can choose their own design sites and formulate their own design tasks. The form can be architectural design, landscape design, interior design, etc., without limitation on subject matter, scale, and techniques. The entries should highlight green, environmental protection, and low-carbon design strategies based on achieving the "double carbon" goal, achieve a balance between design planning, energy conservation and environmental protection, architectural aesthetics, reasonable layout, and environmental friendliness, and advocate new materials and low-carbon The use of environmentally friendly products and energy-saving materials. Contestants are encouraged to combine current national policy plans such as national rural living environment improvement, urban renewal, and old community renovation to propose comprehensive design plans such as renovation, quality improvement, etc. for existing building or environmental problems, so as to promote green buildings and low-carbon cities through design., the construction and development of beautiful countryside.

Participants:

This competition is divided into professional groups and student groups. The participants include developers, design institutions, etc. and outstanding companies in related fields, or independent designers and college students with unique insights in the field of human settlements. You can sign up for the competition in the name of a design agency, a team (up to 5 members) or an individual. Each team should have a main creative designer.

Works classification:

All public buildings such as residential buildings, commercial buildings, educational buildings, office buildings, sports buildings, medical buildings, cultural and tourism buildings that are planned (approved for project approval), under construction, and completed, and in the plan stage, as well as new areas (including old city renovation) planning, garden landscape design, and interior design projects can participate in the competition. Including office buildings, industrial buildings, transportation buildings, educational buildings, residential buildings, tourism and leisure buildings, commercial buildings, sports buildings, cultural buildings, green buildings, comprehensive buildings, renovation buildings, digital buildings, etc. Landscape design category:

Including parks, public spaces, municipal governments, residential areas, parks, hotels, scenic areas, green space systems, tourist areas, national parks, ecological restoration, renewal and renovation, cultural tourism, rural revitalization, B & Bs, etc. Space design category:

Schedule setting:

The competition is divided into three stages: preliminary competition (online professional review by judges), online voting and final (on-site comprehensive review + road show). Preliminary competition (online professional review by judges): The review committee is composed of experts from the World Habitat Think Tank and Aijing Think Tank, including leaders of competent units, well-known domestic and foreign experts, professors, scholars and leaders of well-known enterprises. The preliminary competition will be conducted in batches, and the shortlist will be announced through the preliminary evaluation organizing committee. Finals (on-site comprehensive review + roadshow): Finalists must participate in on-site comprehensive review and roadshow.
