It is the most complete and only shell embankment in the world where new and old shell embankments coexist. It mainly protects shell embankment island and wetland ecosystems and rare and endangered birds.

Shell embankment island is a unique geological landform formed under specific geological conditions and geographical environment. Compared with similar types of shell embankments at home and abroad, Wudi Shell embankment island has several unique features: First, it has a high shell content. Whether Wudi ancient shell embankment island is deeply buried underground or exposed to the surface, the shell content reaches almost 100%, and there are few other impurities; Second, new and old shell embankments coexist. Wudi Shell embankments not only have ancient shell embankments dating back to 5,000 -2000 years ago, but also have newly developed new shell embankments, and there is a trend of forming a third shell embankment island. Other shell embankments abroad and domestic are far away from the coast, and there is no possibility of forming new shell embankments; Third, the typical shell beach wetland ecosystem is a precious marine heritage in our province, our country and even the world, and has important scientific research significance and practical production value.### 4. It is located in the offshore waters of Wudi County, Binzhou, with a sea area of 4,025.25 hectares and is operated by Wudi Zhenghai Shell Dike Island Tourism Co., Ltd.
The Zhenghai National Marine Ranch mainly carries out bottom-sowing and proliferation of shellfish seedlings. The main varieties include clams, clams, and clams hiscina.
