The CarbonX Program was launched by Tencent in collaboration with industry and investment partners. It provides flexible catalytic capital and connects industry resources to advance cutting-edge low-carbon technologies toward large-scale application. In its initial phase, the program focuses on innovative carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies, seeking public project proposals to develop exemplary CCU and CCS implementation projects, foster startups with potential for positive economic returns, and support the development of foundational CCUS capabilities.
