Young people are the living force in promoting climate action and promoting the implementation of sustainable development concepts. The degree of participation of young people determines the inheritance and development of this mission. Therefore, this conference will take youth sustainable development education as the entry point and invite representatives from the industry, academic circles, policy circles, and education circles to participate. Through intergenerational communication, we will explore from different perspectives how to inspire and empower young people in various fields and in diverse forms, and lead them to participate in climate action.

This parallel event was hosted by the Alxa SEE Youth and Innovation Development Committee and the Beijing Yizhuang Association for Science and Technology. The event set up a series of links such as environmental protection knowledge competition, youth climate change observation, and youth climate action declaration. It also solicited proposals related to climate change from young people and encouraged them to put forward their own initiatives as keynote speakers and disseminate them widely in youth communities.
