The 2nd Chongqing Distributed Optical Storage and Green and Low-Carbon Development Forum

In order to promote Chongqing's transformation of clean energy and accelerate the development and application of distributed photovoltaics and energy storage in Chongqing, the 2024 Second Chongqing Distributed Optical Storage and Green and Low Carbon Development Forum will be held in Chongqing on March 7, 2024, focusing on Chongqing's green Low carbon development, industrial and commercial and household photovoltaic markets, photovoltaic + energy storage, BIPV, investment and financing and other hot topics will be discussed and exchanged, and the opportunity will be used to attract talents to continue to empower Chongqing's green, low-carbon and high-quality development!

Introduction to the forum

2024 is a critical year for achieving the goals and tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Green and low-carbon industries have become a new driving force for my country's high-quality development. The Chongqing City government has actively introduced a series of support and encouragement policies to accelerate the construction of renewable energy systems such as photovoltaic energy storage.

Chongqing has insufficient primary energy endowment, and the proportion of purchased electricity is about 30% every year. However, wind and light installed capacity only accounts for 10% of the city's installed capacity, which is 20 percentage points lower than the national level. There is huge room for growth in the construction of an integrated light storage system. In addition, the rise in industrial and commercial electricity prices in Chongqing has further highlighted the economics of photovoltaic power generation. In 2023, Chongqing will add 912,000 kilowatts of new installed capacity of photovoltaic power, including 562,000 kilowatts for industrial and commercial industries and 13,000 kilowatts for household use; as of the end of December 2023, Chongqing's cumulative installed capacity is 160.9 kilowatts. Distributed photovoltaic power represented by industry and commerce is growing rapidly, gradually becoming a key engine for local new energy development!
