#Competition Background The energy electronics industry is an emerging industry generated by the integration and innovation of electronic information technology and new energy demand and is developing rapidly. It is the general term for electronic information technologies and products that produce, serve and apply energy. It mainly includes solar photovoltaics, new energy storage batteries, key terminal applications, key information technologies and products (hereinafter collectively referred to as optical storage and telecommunications) and other fields. It is not only an important part of implementing the strategy of a manufacturing power and a network power, but also the material basis for the production, storage and utilization of new energy. It is also the backbone of achieving the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. With the consent of the State Council, on January 17, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the People's Bank of China, the Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission of China, and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of the Energy Electronics Industry"(hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"). Article 20 of Chapter 8 of the "Guiding Opinions" states that "carry out" unveiling the list and pilot demonstrations in the field of energy electronics, and support the holding of innovation competitions and industry conferences."In order to implement the relevant decisions and arrangements in the opinions on supporting the holding of innovation competitions and industry conferences, to accelerate technological breakthroughs in various fields of energy electronics and the improvement of product supply capabilities, the Industrial Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology plans to cooperate with local governments to organize the first Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition. #Track competition questions Competition content:

Support the application of new energy electronics technologies and new products in key terminal markets and promote the demonstration of advanced products and technologies. The focus is on solutions or application cases of energy electronic technologies and products in the fields of industry, communications, energy, transportation, construction, agriculture, etc., and the application and promotion of energy electronic products in new infrastructure such as 5G base stations and new energy vehicle charging piles. The competition title setting areas are as follows:

  1. Digital empowerment field Including solutions or application cases for digitalization, intelligence and Internet value-added construction of various energy supply, transmission and application processes. The scope of solicitation includes but is not limited to intelligent monitoring, energy big data analysis, energy metering, intelligent dispatch, energy management platforms, etc.
  2. Green carbon reduction field Including solutions or application cases that use new energy equipment and technologies such as photovoltaics, wind power, and hydrogen energy, as well as product technologies such as energy-saving technological transformation, energy efficiency improvement, energy-saving equipment and electric energy substitution to achieve the goal of energy conservation and carbon reduction. The scope of solicitation includes but not limited to distributed photovoltaic systems, hydrogen energy utilization, decentralized wind power utilization, intelligent charging and replacing, industrial electrification transformation, industrial equipment energy-saving transformation, high-efficiency heat pumps, geothermal building heat recovery, waste heat and pressure utilization, Shago wasteland, application of optical storage and charging in the field of building materials, etc.
  3. Comprehensive energy utilization field Solutions or application cases that include the coordinated utilization and comprehensive utilization of multiple energy sources to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy waste. The scope of solicitation includes, but is not limited to, multi-energy complementary cascade utilization, industrial parks, comprehensive energy utilization management of commercial and public buildings, etc.
  4. Industrial green microgrid field Including energy electronic equipment and systems that utilize renewable energy and energy storage technologies to provide solutions or application cases for clean and efficient power supply to industrial areas. The scope of solicitation includes but not limited to integrated optical storage and charging technology, distributed energy storage technology, microgrid systems in industrial fields, zero-carbon parks, etc.
  5. Power electronic equipment technology and application fields Including solutions or application cases for using key energy electronic equipment and technologies to improve efficiency in energy generation, transmission, supply and other links. The scope of solicitation includes but is not limited to the application of advanced power electronic equipment in large-scale energy transmission, industrial production and manufacturing, photovoltaic/energy storage/charging pile systems, etc.
  6. emerging fields Including solutions or application cases of energy electronics technologies and products in various emerging fields. The scope of solicitation includes but is not limited to high-efficiency LED technology, emerging semiconductor lighting, virtual power plants, new charging technologies and equipment for new energy vehicles, electric aircraft/electric aircraft, etc.
