#Notice on Holding the First New Materials Innovation Competition

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Heilongjiang Province People's Government have decided to continue to co-host the 6th China International New Materials Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "New Expo"), the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Heilongjiang Province Department of Industry and Information Technology, Heilongjiang Province Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Harbin City People's Government jointly organized. During the same period of the expo, the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Heilongjiang Province Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Heilongjiang Province Department of Science and Technology will jointly host the first New Materials Innovation Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition").
This competition aims to promote technological progress, application innovation, talent training, and integration of industry and education in the field of new materials, solve outstanding problems of enterprises in the research and development and application of new materials in a targeted manner, strengthen the in-depth integration of industry, academia and research led by enterprises, strengthen goal orientation, and improve The level of transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. Strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in scientific and technological innovation, give full play to the leading and supporting role of key scientific and technological enterprises, create a good environment conducive to the growth of small, medium and micro scientific and technological enterprises, and promote the deep integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, capital chains, talent chains.

##3. Entry requirements
Production and application enterprises, scientific research institutions, national colleges and universities, social groups and individuals in the field of new materials.
(2) Entry instructions
Participating companies and team members must have good social reputation, have no record of major breach of trust, or have no criminal record. The participating companies have no bad operating records.
Registration must ensure that the information provided is accurate, true and effective, and the team name must not contain sensitive or uncivilized words.
Participating projects should have innovative technologies and products with high growth potential. The products and operations of the project belong to the same participating entity and have legal rights to use the technology.
The entries must comply with relevant national laws, regulations and industrial policies, and must not infringe on the patent rights, copyright, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights of others. The creativity, technology and related intellectual property rights of the participating works belong to the participating teams.
Through the unified release of the activity plan on the online network platform, participants can submit electronic introduction of their works through the designated entrance. Paper documents will not be mailed during the submission period. The competition secretariat will notify relevant personnel of the candidate works for the first, second and third prizes based on actual conditions. Mail works (in kind) to the competition site for road shows, and awards will be awarded at the closing ceremony of the 6th New Expo.

Deadline of August 6: Participants submit submissions.
August 7 to August 13: The first round of selection (preliminary evaluation) will determine the shortlist for the first, second and third prizes and announce it.
August 14 to August 18: The second round of selection (re-evaluation) will determine the list of third prize works and the list of candidate works for the first and second prizes and announce them.
August 19 to 26: Physical mailing time for the first and second prize candidates (mailed to the road show venue).
August 27 - 28: The third round of selection (final evaluation) selects the first and second prize works and conducts a road show.
August 29th to 31st: Award ceremony: The first, second and third prize awarding ceremonies were held in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, during the 6th China International New Materials Industry Expo co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province.
##5. Selection method and award setting
The entries will be selected in three rounds, and the awards will be New Materials Product Award and New Materials Application Award. The first round of selection (preliminary evaluation) will determine the shortlist of the first, second and third prizes and announce it; the second round of selection (re-evaluation) will determine the list of the third prize; the third round of selection (final evaluation) will select the first and second prize works and conduct a roadshow.
Excellent projects that are implemented in Heilongjiang Province can enjoy corresponding policy support.

Complete the competition.
