International Energy Agency's "2023 World Energy Investment" report launch conference
The International Energy Agency, the Energy Foundation and the Peking University Institute of Energy invite you to participate in the International Energy Agency's "2023 World Energy Investment" report launch conference to be held in China on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. This conference will include online and offline venues and provide simultaneous interpretation and translation support.
The "World Energy Investment 2023" report comprehensively introduces the latest situation of energy investment in 2022 and provides a preliminary interpretation of the new situation in 2023. The report provides a global benchmark for tracking capital flows in the energy sector and explores how to assess risks and opportunities in areas such as fuel and electricity supply, energy efficiency, energy technology research and development, and energy financing. This conference will look forward to the upcoming 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai in December and discuss how to further bridge the funding gap for the global clean energy transition. Tim Gould, Chief Energy Economist of the International Energy Agency, will introduce the main results of the "World Energy Investment 2023" report, and relevant experts from China will hold roundtable discussions.
