With the "30·60" carbon peaking and carbon neutrality plan advocated by the central government, the Interior Design Branch of China Architectural Society responded to the call and held the "Design and Reengineering" green life art creative exhibition, aiming to respond to the government's advocacy of energy conservation and low-carbon environmental protection, discovering the recycling value of waste in life, using wisdom and hands to redesign old or discarded materials and articles in life, awakening everyone's understanding of low-carbon life, and advocating green reuse creative lifestyles.
The "Design Reengineering" Green Life Art Creative Exhibition reinterprets the multi-angle connotations of "abandonment","function","life" and "beauty" from the perspective of artistic design, thereby affecting the overall development goals of the public and the industry. Green life, green design, green creation, a sustainable and healthy living concept. By participating in design reengineering, the public can double improve their aesthetic and environmental awareness, and collect re-design works from the society.
Activity purpose:
What is "design reengineering"? Use old or abandoned materials or objects in life as raw materials and redesign them into a practical or ornamental item in life. The "Design and Reengineering" creative exhibition is a creative mobilization, a design experience, a public welfare promotion, a low-carbon action, and a lifestyle advocacy!
Work requirements:

Exhibition procedures:
The activity is divided into four stages: the first stage is to submit works and submit electronic documents of the exhibited works; the second stage is to organize works that meet the requirements; the third stage is to select the exhibition works by experts; and the fourth stage is to display on-site.
Phase 1: Submission of works (2023.2-6.30)

- Registration and Exhibitor Requirements:
- Fill in the registration form online, you need to register first and then fill in the corresponding registration form.

Works exhibited can only be submitted by email, email address: iid_asc@163.com。Please package, compress and name the exhibition boards and publication materials of the exhibition materials and send them to the designated mailbox according to the exhibition requirements. Each work corresponds to a registration form.
- Exhibition requirements: The design requirements for exhibition board materials and publication materials are as follows:
① Requirements for designing exhibition panels: Exhibitors arrange the design content within a 900×1800mm format of the panel core (unified vertical composition), and exhibitors only store the final electronic document of the panel (save as*.JPG format, 100dpi); review panels, exhibition panels: Templates can be downloaded by visiting www.iid-asc.cn or clicking ("Read Original" in the lower left corner). Both review panels and exhibition panels need to be sent to the mailbox. Design unit and personal information cannot appear on the review display board.
② Publication data requirements: author's photo (resolution 300dpi), work pictures (4-5 pieces) introduction, work introduction video (1-2 minutes), work creative description and creative concept expression (within 100 words), and word document files are provided.
The pictures of the works require raw material display and re-designed works display (including the appearance and functional demonstration of the work). Exhibition introduction video requirements: horizontal screen shooting, duration is 1-2 minutes, and video pixels are above 1080P/4K to ensure that the video picture is clear and clean, and the exhibition design works are completely and clearly introduced.

Each work can be jointly participated by an individual or multiple people. There are no more than 3 main designers, and only the name of the main designer appears on the certificate.

Each exhibited work will be issued a certificate.

Phase 2: Organize works (2023.7.1 - 7.31)
The organizing committee organizes industry experts to sort out the exhibition works that meet the requirements.
Phase 3: Resolution exhibition works (2023.8.1 - 8.31)
The organizing committee organizes industry experts to select qualified works, determines the selection list of physical exhibitions and photo exhibitions, and invites participating designers to keep relevant physical works.
Phase 4: Exhibition (fourth quarter of 2023)
The organizing committee will display the works after the resolution.

The exhibition materials must be complete and meet the requirements, and the content in the registration form must be true and accurate. After entry, the promotion and production of entry certificates and other materials after entry will be based on the information filled in the exhibitor's registration form. After the entry list is announced, it will not be accepted. Any modification or replacement of the exhibitor's name, work name, unit/school name, and instructor information will be accepted, otherwise the organizing committee has the right to cancel the participation/entry qualification.

You can participate in the exhibition as an individual or a multi-person collaboration, and there are no limits on the subject matter, style and form of expression of the work. It is required to have a clear theme, positive and healthy content, and comply with China laws, regulations and ethics.

When submitting works, exhibitors must ensure that the exhibition information contains valid contact information. If the contact information and mailing address are not confirmed before the end of the event, or relevant matters cannot be communicated smoothly due to incomplete or erroneous information of the exhibitor, they will be deemed to be automatically waived.

The works in exhibition must be original by the designer, and must bear the legal issues such as copyright and patent rights involved in the works, and ensure that the works in exhibition do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties. Anyone involved in infringement such as plagiarism and borrowing will be disqualified from participating in the exhibition, and the exhibitor himself will bear full responsibility for any legal disputes arising therefrom. The event organizers and partners shall not bear any relevant joint and several legal responsibilities.

The creativity, patent ownership and use rights of all participating works belong to the participating authors. Any unit or individual must negotiate with the participating authors and obtain the permission of the author before using the results of the participating works (this behavior belongs to the supply and demand of the work results, and the organizer shall not bear relevant responsibilities for the behavior between the parties).

Once the work is successfully submitted, the event organizer and cooperative media have the right to use the collected ideas and works for non-commercial purposes such as promotion, exhibition, website display and production of promotional materials, without further informing exhibitors.

When exhibitors submit their works in accordance with the regulations, they are deemed to have read, fully agree and voluntarily abide by the above regulations. For exhibitors who violate the rules of the event, the event execution agency has the right to cancel their participation qualifications and reserve the right to further pursue their legal responsibilities.
