Exhibition Overview### Southern China Flagship Environmental Protection Exhibition: Exploring Development Opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay AreaAs the Chinese counterpart to the global flagship environmental protection exhibition, IFAT in Munich, Germany, the China Environmental Protection Expo has been dedicated to China’s environmental industry for 21 years. First held in Shanghai in 2000 on an annual basis, it has since grown into a leading environmental protection exhibition in Asia. Starting in 2015, the expo partnered with the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association to establish a satellite event in Guangzhou—the “China Environmental Protection Expo Guangzhou Edition.” This event shares global exhibitor and visitor resources with the IFAT series, providing a high-quality professional platform for the rapidly developing Southern China environmental industry to discover new technologies and products, exchange development experiences, and explore effective solutions.
With the implementation of policies for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou and Shenzhen—two major first-tier cities just 100 kilometers apart—are playing a “multiplier effect” through coordinated development, driving high-quality growth across the region.
The 2023 China Environmental Protection Expo Guangzhou Edition will be held from September 20–22, 2023, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. It will showcase innovative technologies and equipment for water and wastewater treatment, water supply and drainage, solid waste management, air pollution control, site remediation, and environmental monitoring. Concurrently, the “Southern China Ecological Environment Innovation Technology Conference” will take place, featuring dozens of specialized forums and activities focused on industry trends, allowing experts from all segments of the industry to stay informed and discuss innovative solutions.
