According to the latest data from the National Energy Administration, as of the end of June, the country's wind power installed capacity was 22.99 million kilowatts, and the cumulative grid-connected wind power installed capacity was 390 million kilowatts, ranking first in the world for 13 consecutive years. Nearly 60% of wind power equipment on the global market is produced in China. Wind turbines currently have a localization level of more than 90% of the complete machine, forming a complete industrial system. The "14th Five-Year Plan" is a critical period for my country to achieve carbon peak. Promoting high-quality development of the wind power industry is related to the implementation of the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. We must use scientific and technological innovation as the starting point to improve quality and efficiency and make up for the shortcomings of the industry. As the core components of wind turbines, wind turbine blades are the key to improving the overall performance of the turbine. Carbon fiber has a series of excellent properties such as high modulus, high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. In recent years, it has been widely used in large fan blades. With the continuous accumulation of achievements of domestic R & D teams, price barriers are slowly breaking., the future application prospects of carbon fiber in fan blades are broad, laying a solid foundation for improving the overall quality of fan blades.
In order to promote the high-quality development of wind power and improve the popularization and application of carbon fiber materials in the wind power industry, the Wind Power Industry High-Quality Development Conference and Carbon Fiber Application Seminar are scheduled to be held in Jilin City from September 20 to 22. The meeting will invite relevant leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Energy Bureau, and industry associations, as well as middle and high-level enterprise leaders and industry experts from owners, complete machines, blades, operation and maintenance, molds, testing, certification and other institutions to attend the meeting.
