Achieving carbon peak in 2030 and carbon neutrality in 2060 is an important commitment of China's government to the international community. Addressing climate change has become an important issue facing the world. As a major carbon emitter in the world, China has a long way to go towards carbon neutrality. Currently, various industries and related fields are accelerating the search for new low-carbon technologies to help achieve the goal of "carbon neutrality."
In order to better promote the development of carbon neutrality related technologies, with the joint support of relevant industry authoritative organizations, the 2024 Shanghai International Carbon Neutralization Technology Expo (referred to as China Carbon Expo CO expo China 2024) is scheduled to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on April 18-20, 2024. The exhibition takes "neutrality" technology and 'carbon' for the future as the theme, focusing on carbon capture, utilization, storage, energy-saving and low-carbon technologies, hydrogen energy and recycling and other related net-zero carbon technologies.
The exhibition integrates technical equipment display, achievement promotion, high-level forums, project investment promotion, cooperation and exchanges, and builds an authoritative technology and exchange platform for the global carbon neutrality industry. It also holds 20+ exchanges such as "2024 China Carbon Neutralization Technology Conference" to deeply discuss policy trends and technology applications related to carbon neutrality.
The 2024 China Carbon Expo will be held simultaneously with Asia's flagship environmental protection exhibition-China Environmental Expo. The total exhibition area is expected to reach more than 200,000 square meters. More than 2300 companies from 35 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition. Enterprises and departments from key fields such as power and energy, steel, chemicals, building materials, non-ferrous metals, transportation and political departments and scientific research will be invited to participate.
