Background of the Double Carbon Conference:

The national-level "Double Carbon Conference" was held by China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and China Materials Research Society. Efforts will be made to solve the core and key technologies of key industries with the national "double carbon" emission reduction goals, and promote cutting-edge scientific and technological fields to "serve the national low-carbon strategy and focus on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements." It is organized and held once a year. The first conference in 2023 will be held in Jinan, Shandong Province from May 27 to 28.

Conference positioning:

Ministries, provinces, municipalities, departments, scientific research, industry organizations and enterprises work together to promote, taking "scientific and technological innovation and industrial transformation" as the starting point, and rejecting "laboratory paper technology." There are 19 sub-forums, inviting more than 60 academicians, and outstanding achievements are recommended to be shortlisted for the "Core Contribution Award" and "Science and Technology Innovation China".
