Green finance has become a major trend in global development, with government agencies and financial institutions around the world actively introducing relevant policies and innovative product practices to support the sustainable development of enterprises and nations. As one of the first countries to establish a green finance policy framework, China has seen rapid progress in various aspects such as policy evolution, regional pilots, product innovation, and market scale. Currently, China’s policy systems for green credit, green bonds, environmental rights, and other related markets are continuously improving. Regional pilots centered on local green finance reform and innovation zones have yielded replicable and actionable experiences, serving as China’s “calling card” in green finance. Market participants including local governments, financial institutions, and enterprises are constantly innovating products across multiple dimensions, enriching the variety of green finance products in China while also driving green economic transformation and high-quality development.
