The ocean is like a flowing feast on the earth. It has infinite will, spirituality and vitality. At the same time, it also carries unlimited costs due to the behavior of the human fashion industry. The 2023 RISE UP Sustainable Fashion Design Challenge will explore sustainable fashion cycles and new business models based on marine plastic pollution. We hope that through this event, design will become the driving force of circular economy and use sustainable design concepts to build a new blueprint for co-governance and symbiosis with the ocean.
