Abstract:
Amid growing global momentum for climate action, the United Nations Solutions Hub (UNSH) represents a strategic step toward digitally enabled collaboration for sustainability. As nations, organizations, and communities work to translate commitments into concrete results, the UNSH serves as a unifying digital platform to connect innovations, partners, and implementation pathways that advance the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event will officially launch the UNSH as a global platform for digital-enabled climate collaboration, co-hosted by UNFCCC, GeSI, and Tencent. It will demonstrate how innovation and partnerships between public, private, and international sectors can accelerate sustainable transformation, while engaging key organizations — including UN agencies, multilateral development banks, cities, and enterprises — to exchange and scale actionable climate solutions.
By highlighting the role of digitalization in linking local innovation with global impact, the session underscores the importance of collaboration across regions and sectors in achieving inclusive, data-driven sustainability. It also showcases GeSI and Tencent’s continued contributions to the UN’s digital transformation and sustainability agenda — reinforcing the shared vision of leveraging technology to create measurable, scalable solutions for a more resilient planet.
