Closely following the theme of the competition, the works include physical production (including models), software, design and social practice survey reports, etc., embodying new ideas, new principles, new methods and new technologies. 1. Participants For undergraduate students in Beijing universities, contestants must compete in groups, with 3-7 people in each group, and 1-3 instructors can be hired. Each participating student is limited to serving as the leader of one project; each teacher guides no more than 2 projects. (2) Participating units Registration is organized based on each academy (department). When applying for works, each unit needs to sort all works and will serve as a reference for school recommendations. (3) Application of works The entries are divided into environment, energy, corporate proposition and rural revitalization proposition track. The entries must be completed during the competition year. Participating students must complete the design within the specified time and submit their entries on time as required. Those who fail to submit them on time will be automatically abandoned. Get templates such as application forms, instructions and summary sheets by downloading attachments. Enterprise proposition track and rural revitalization proposition track projects do not occupy the quota of regular track entries. Such projects are reviewed separately, and the awards evaluated do not occupy the quota of regular track entries. The corporate proposition track and rural revitalization proposition track project plans will be announced separately. (4) Work review The entries must go through formal review and review and recommendation by each academy (department). The specific number of works to be selected for the final defense of the Beijing City Competition will be determined by the Municipal Competition Organizing Committee based on the actual situation of the competition scale. The Municipal Expert Committee reviews the works based on their scientific nature, innovation, feasibility and economy, and proposes a list of winners. City-level award-winning works cannot repeatedly participate in the selection of the "Beijing City College Student Energy Saving, Water Saving, Low Carbon Emission Reduction Social Practice and Technology Competition" in different years.

Competition schedule and arrangement

Each participating institute (department) will send the electronic version of the entry application form to the email address designated by the Academic Affairs Office before March 5, 2026. Attach a "Academy (Ministry) Recommendation Summary Table" stamped with the official seal of the Academy (Ministry), and make sure to order all works. If each academy (department) has a judge who recommends to Beijing City, please send the "Judge Recommendation Form" to the mailbox before 12:00 noon on January 22, 2026. The academy (department) can recommend up to one person. The Academic Affairs Office organizes expert review and will select 15 works to participate in the Beijing City Competition. Projects selected for the Beijing City Competition need to submit an electronic application form in the designated system of Beijing City (the system and submission requirements will be notified separately by Beijing City), and at the same time, the paper application form (in duplicate) will be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office before March 25. The original descriptions of the entries in the paper application form must be filled out completely.
