###1. Introduction to the exhibition Exhibition name: Thailand International Solar Energy and Energy Storage Exhibition Exhibition time: January 28-29, 2026 Exhibition Location: Thailand-Bangkok-BITEC The 2025 Thailand International Solar Energy and Energy Storage Exhibition has achieved great success. This exhibition brought together 100+ exhibitors, 5000+ registered visitors, and 70+ conference speakers. Global energy industry leaders, experts, professionals, and top suppliers in the industry participated. During the two-day event, new products and technologies in the energy industry were showcased, with more than 70 industry-leading speakers on large solar energy, C&I rooftop solar energy, energy storage and batteries, future energy, net zero, smart grid and T&D, and solar installation. Live speeches and roundtables were held under themes such as industry insights to the audience. The exhibition was well received by exhibitors and participating buyers and is the best platform for photovoltaic and energy storage companies to enter the Thai market. As the exhibition's agent in China, Yingshang Lihua Exhibition will continue to provide high-quality booths and services to various enterprises, and assist qualified enterprises in applying for overseas exhibition participation subsidies.

2. Scope of exhibits

3. Market information

  1. Thailand's energy goal: achieve carbon neutrality by 2070. In 2021, Thailand's Energy Policy Committee held a meeting to approve the national energy plan framework and support Thailand's transition to clean energy, with the goal of reducing carbon emissions to zero (carbon neutrality) between 2065 and 2070. Vigorously promote green energy investment in the energy field, such as increasing the proportion of renewable energy power generation by no less than 50%, and reducing the proportion of fossil fuel power generation. At the same time, we will promote electric vehicle (EV) technology, bring technology and innovation into modern energy management, improve energy management efficiency, and enhance the flexibility of transmission and distribution infrastructure to support future renewable energy generation capabilities.
  2. Government supportive policies promote market development. The Thai government is encouraging renewable energy installations across the country to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20-25% by 2030. The government also supports the solar market by providing various incentives and regulatory support. The country plans to further open its energy market to private electricity transactions through the new Solar Roofings Ordinance in 2020. According to the regulations, solar photovoltaic owners can use transmission and distribution infrastructure to connect to the grid for electricity transactions by paying transmission fees to utilities. Fees for retail power transactions will be based on the amount of electricity transmitted and the congestion level on the transmission lines. The country revised its Electricity Development Plan (PDP). According to PDP 2020, Thailand plans to add 50 MW of residential rooftop solar power to 250 MW by 2024. Thailand has set a goal of renewable energy accounting for 30% of the power mix by 2037.
  3. Thailand's installed renewable energy power generation capacity continues to rise. Among them, photovoltaic power generation has the largest increase and has become Thailand's largest alternative power source. Among the planned production capacity of renewable energy power generation, solar energy has the largest growth and target production capacity. The Thai government plans to invest 200 billion baht to build a smart grid by 2036 to adapt to the power supply continuity requirements of renewable energy power generation. Thailand's Investment Promotion Policy (BOI) lists multiple industries in the renewable energy sector as key support targets.
