The 2nd Academic Forum on Carbon Neutralization and Global Change of China Soil Society (the first round of notice)

In order to implement the national "double carbon" strategic goals and give full play to the supporting and leading role of soil ecosystem carbon sequestration and emission reduction in response to climate change, it is planned to rely on the Carbon Neutralization and Global Change Working Group of China Soil Society to hold the "Second China Soil Society Carbon Neutralization and Global Change Academic Forum" in Nanjing. It aims to comprehensively improve the carbon sink function of terrestrial ecosystems, promote green and low-carbon development of agriculture, continue to ensure national ecological security, and strive to promote the construction of ecological civilization. The forum was sponsored by the Carbon Neutralization and Global Change Working Group of the China Soil Society, the School of Geography and Oceanography of Nanjing University, the School of Resources and Environmental Sciences of Nanjing Agricultural University, and the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Green and Low-Carbon on the Southeast Coast of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It was organized by Jiangsu Province. Co-organized by the Key Laboratory of Agriculture and Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction, the 8th Agricultural Resources and Environment Discipline Review Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, and the Jiangsu Province Soil Carbon Neutralization and Climate Change Response Experimental Facility Platform. With the theme of "Soil Carbon Neutralization and Global Change Response", this forum focuses on the frontiers of agricultural resources and environment, global change ecology and other disciplines, focusing on ecosystem carbon fixation and emission reduction countermeasures, synergy of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and carbon and nitrogen greenhouse gas measurement. Discuss hot issues such as models, sustainable development of ecosystems and ecological civilization construction, further strengthen academic exchanges among peers and enhance the level of cooperative research, and jointly promote the comprehensive green transformation of the economy and society and the realization of the "double carbon" goal.

Notes on payment of registration fees

If you cannot transfer money to register, you can also pay during on-site registration (invoices may need to be mailed after the meeting). The conference registration time is September 15, 2023, and the remittance deadline is October 15, 2023. The on-site registration date is October 24, 2023, 14:00-23:00. Conference accommodation
Accommodation for participants will be arranged at Nanjing Xindi Hotel & Qingting Hotel. During the conference, the accommodation expenses will be borne at their own expense. The conference team has signed an agreement with the hotel, and all participants will enjoy the hotel's agreed room rate during the conference. Please register for the meeting as soon as possible and book a room. After October 15, it may be difficult to guarantee the agreed price due to the lack of remaining rooms in the hotel.
