Under the global wave of sustainable development, ESG has become the core dimension to measure the high-quality development of enterprises. As a central-level mainstream financial media, China Times has always been committed to promoting the implementation of ESG concepts and practical innovation. Facts have proved that good practices are always reflected in good cases, and case exchange is an effective way to improve corporate ESG performance. To this end, China Times and China ESG Observation Alliance launched the collection of "2025 Excellent ESG Practice Cases" in an attempt to find and discover corporate ESG cases that have achieved excellent performance in the past year, and we now sincerely invite companies to participate.
The scope of this solicitation includes: China enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises operating in China and Sino-foreign joint ventures.
The case database is divided into 9 categories, with no more than 6 Chinese and foreign companies selected in each category, and the 10 best cases are further selected from the selected companies.
The nine categories are:

Green opportunity cases: These companies have seized the business opportunities brought by the concept of sustainable development.

Leading low-carbon cases: These companies have directly or indirectly reduced carbon emissions during the production process.

Energy conservation and consumption reduction cases: These companies have significantly reduced resource consumption during the production process. In addition to energy and water resources, they also include other materials.

Environmentally friendly cases: These companies reduce pollutant emissions during the production process and are conducive to protecting natural resources, living environment and biodiversity.

Quality selection cases: These companies provide reliable quality products or services.

Benchmarking cases of human resources and public welfare: These companies have handled employment relationships well or made non-show investments in the field of public welfare.

Supply chain performance cases: These companies have actively fulfilled their supply chain responsibilities and shared development dividends with their partners.

Outstanding governance cases: These companies have implemented environmental and social responsibilities by improving their governance structures, and properly handled the relationship between shareholders and operators.

Model compliance cases: These companies abide by legal norms and do not touch the red line of business ethics.
The judges participating in the case review are all well-known university scholars and institutional experts. They are (In no particular order, sorted by initials): He Jijiang (Executive Deputy Director of the Energy Transformation Research Center, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University), Shi Han (Senior Researcher, Center for Contemporary China and World Studies, University of Hong Kong), Wang Kai (Vice President of China ESG Research Institute, Capital University of Economics and Business, Vice President of the School of Business Administration), Xin Bin (Vice President of SGS China, General Manager of SGS Management and Guarantee Business Group China), Ma Jie (Secretary-General of China ESG Observation Alliance and Executive General Manager of China Times). In addition, Zhu Chunquan, senior consultant of the Tropical Rainforest Alliance of the World Economic Forum, was also invited to serve as an observer to supervise the entire selection to ensure fairness and justice.
