Cities are the main body of carbon neutrality and the forefront of climate action and green growth. Cities are home to more than 50% of the world's population, generate 80% of the world's GDP, emit 75% of anthropogenic greenhouse gases, and consume 75% of material resources, and these numbers will increase significantly in the coming decades. As a unit of the city, the community is conducive to carrying out carbon neutrality demonstration projects in terms of scale, innovation mechanism, and governance structure.

In this context, Impact Hub Shanghai, Tonggaole Technology and Biosphere 3 jointly launched the "Carbon Neutralization Community Innovation Plan", joining forces with industry and ecological stakeholders to explore comprehensive solutions for carbon-neutral communities in the community scenarios represented by the "Biosphere 3-Dameisha Vanke Center Carbon Neutralization Experimental Park". Dameisha Vanke Center will be built into an international carbon-neutral community through a four-year renovation and renovation. The first phase of the project "Biosphere 3 Carbon Neutralization Innovation Park" was officially unveiled in October 2022, and outstanding projects in the innovation plan have the opportunity to land in the park.
