In order to promote the deepening and practical energy cooperation between China and Africa in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, join hands with partners from all parties to address climate change, accelerate energy innovation in Africa, and catalyze more energy innovation actions, the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Conservancy Planning and Design, together with relevant units, launched the China-Africa Energy Innovation Cooperation Accelerator Project under the framework of the African Union Energy Partnership (hereinafter referred to as the "Accelerator Project"), which aims to select and promote energy innovation cooperation project cases and energy innovation technology solutions that help Africa's energy transformation, promote more "small but beautiful" energy projects to be implemented in Africa, improve local people's livelihood, and promote green development. This accelerator project has two track contents: "Energy Innovation Cooperation Project Cases" and "Energy Innovation Technology Solutions".

1. Energy innovation cooperation project cases: A typical demonstration project case with mature technologies and business models and has been implemented in Africa.
2. Energy innovation technology solutions: Energy innovation technology solutions that meet the actual local energy needs of Africa and are expected to be promoted and applied in the African market

Recruitment direction

This solicitation focuses on related fields such as the development, utilization and storage of new energy and renewable energy. The scope of application includes but is not limited to energy solutions in households, industries, commerce, and public service scenarios such as modern agriculture, green transportation, schools and hospitals. Specific directions include but are not limited to:

1. Solar energy development and utilization, such as centralized photovoltaic or photo-thermal power stations, photovoltaic +, household photovoltaic power generation systems, photovoltaic microgrids, agricultural light complementary, optical storage and charging integrated charging stations, etc.
2. Development and utilization of renewable energy such as wind energy, geothermal energy, and small-scale hydropower generation.
3. Development and utilization of clean biomass energy, including but not limited to small-scale biogas projects and their auxiliary systems.
4. Comprehensive solution for green hydrogen production, storage, transportation and use.
5. Terminal electrification, such as electric farm tools, electric vehicles (including two-wheeled and three-wheeled electric vehicles) and related supporting equipment (such as charging and replacing stations, battery recycling), etc.
