Forum Overview

In partnership with the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance and the Baton Rouge Area Carbon Reduction Alliance, Energy Conference Network is proud to launch the Gulf Coast Industrial Decarbonization Forum, to be held in Baton Rouge on May 14-15, 2024.

This inaugural conference and exhibition will focus on:

  • 1)Strategies and technologies that industry can implement to secure significant investment on the State and Federal levels
  • 2)Regional opportunities to develop and export clean fuel and technology solutions
  • 3)How Government, Industry, Educational Institutions, not for profits and solution providers can collaborate to effect real action and outcomes.

While best known for being the global energy capital, the Gulf Coast also has a highly successful manufacturing footprint and a transportation/logistics hub, a hotbed of new technology and home to some of the world's most forward-thinking and innovative organizations.

Louisiana's single largest energy consumer, industry (comprising nearly two-thirds of all end uses compared to the country as a whole, where industry comprises one-third of all end uses), is poised to take advantage of greener fuel and CCUS incentives to build on an already world-beating exporting sector.
