Amazon Sustainability Accelerator is designed to provide entrepreneurs with skills and opportunities to grow their businesses and have a positive impact on the environment. Since its launch in 2022, the accelerator has supported more than 25 start-ups in the UK and Europe, provided more than US$1 million in funding and credits, and helped these companies grow their sales by 700%, and has raised more than £ 16 million to date. In this year's accelerator, startups will work with experts from Amazon's Sustainability, Climate Commitment Fund and Climate Friendly Team, attend workshops, receive guidance, and benefit from specially designed programs to help founders cope with the challenges of starting a business and expanding sustainable businesses. The European Institute for Innovation and Technology for Climate Innovation and Technology and Amazon will collaborate to guide accelerator participants in climate impact assessments, during which they will learn how to self-assess the climate impact of their businesses and develop strategies to improve their environmental footprint.
