eligibility criteria

The "Green Home Initiative" supports environmental public welfare entrepreneurship teams that hope to develop into a stable form, rather than one-off short-term projects. Whether you and your team want to develop into a stable environmental volunteer team in the future or register as a formal public welfare organization, you can apply as long as you meet the following conditions.

Environmental protection:

• The mission and objectives of the applicant institution directly contribute to the fields of ecological and environmental protection and sustainable development;

Public welfare:

• Applicants are non-profit organizations committed to solving certain types of social public issues, and also include social enterprises with the fundamental goal of prioritizing the pursuit of social benefits;

Organization:

• The application subject is a public welfare organization that can operate for a long time, not a public welfare project, and is not an individual, with a core team of at least 3 people;

Initial stage:

• The applicant institution is in the initial stage, and effective solutions to the identified problems are still being explored and verified

Founder (and Partner):

• The founders (and partners) have a strong mission drive and focus on solving environmental issues identified by the organization;

Other requirements:

• The registration time for an institution generally does not exceed two years
• The application form must be filled in truthfully, comprehensively and completely;
• Organizations that have received funding from green entrepreneurs projects cannot apply repeatedly;
• Due to the cost of funding management and execution difficulty, applications from institutions outside the mainland of China are not accepted for the time being.

Application time: January 9, 2023 to March 31, 2023

Make every effort to adjust the verification rules

Approval time: April 1-April 30, 2023

Verification and regulation method: The project team will complete due diligence and verification of the applying organization in accordance with the "Green Entrepreneur Application Qualification", inform the verification and regulation results via email, and make a public announcement on the official website and the green entrepreneur public account for 7 days.

on-site review

Review time: May to September 2023 (the review meeting interval will be determined according to actual conditions)

Review location: Each project center of Alxa SEE (arrangements will be made based on the wishes of the applicant organization)

Review process: The judging team determines the funding intention and funding amount through on-site roadshows and judges 'questions, and conducts closed discussions based on the "Dimensions of Green Entrepreneurs Review". The results will be notified by email within 7 working days after the review is completed, and the cooperation relationship will be formally formed after the agreement is signed.

supplementary review

Time: November 2023

If the organization misses the application opportunity in the first half of the year and faces survival difficulties, please submit the application on the official website. The project team will add a review meeting at the end of the year based on the number of applications to provide support to organizations that are in urgent need of start-up funds to maintain institutional development.
