There are 16 preliminary areas in this competition. The competition areas are distributed as follows: 16 preliminary competition areas including Western Europe (held in the UK), Central Europe (held in France), Eastern Europe (held in Hungary), Australia (held in Australia), Asia (held in South Korea), Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Suzhou, Xi'an, and Chengdu.

entry requirements

Domestic competition area requirements

(1)The contestants are high-level talents with innovative achievements and innovation and entrepreneurship plans, and their technological achievements are leading internationally and domestically, in line with Jinan's industrial development direction.

(2)The participating projects have innovative and commercial potential. The results, products or technologies proposed comply with national laws, regulations and industrial policies, and the participants have no intellectual property disputes.

(3)In principle, the contestants have certain entrepreneurial experience, strong innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, market development, operation management and resource integration.

(4)Contestants can only choose one competition area to register for one event, and repeat application to be disqualified. In principle, overseas students who have returned to China will register for the competition in the domestic competition area.

(5)Encourage foreign talent projects to come to the economy for innovation and entrepreneurship. During the registration period of the competition (before July 1, 2023), the participating projects have not yet been implemented in the economy, and there are intentions to implement them within one year after the competition.

(6)Talents and projects that have won final awards in previous China (Jinan) New Kinetic Energy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions are not allowed to participate in this competition again.

Requirements for overseas competition areas

(1)The contestants are overseas high-level talents with innovative achievements and innovation and entrepreneurship plans, and their technological achievements are leading internationally and domestically.

(2)The participating projects have innovative and commercial potential. The results, products or technologies proposed comply with national laws, regulations and industrial policies, and the participants have no intellectual property disputes.

(3)In principle, contestants have a master's degree or above.

(4)In principle, the contestants have experience in famous overseas universities, scientific research institutions or foreign companies, have certain experience in project operation, and are responsible for major industrial technology development, achievement transformation and industrialization projects. For particularly outstanding contestants, the conditions can be relaxed appropriately.

(5)Contestants can only choose one competition area to register for one event, and repeat application to be disqualified.

(6)Encourage overseas talent projects to come to Jinan to innovate and start businesses. During the registration stage of the competition (before July 1, 2023), the participating projects have not yet been implemented in Jinan, and there is an intention to implement them within one year after the competition.

(7)Talents and projects that have won final awards in previous China (Jinan) New Kinetic Energy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions are not allowed to participate in this competition again.

award setting

1. Preliminary awards and bonuses

Each competition area has 5 winning prizes, with a prize of RMB 30,000 per person (certificate); 10 shortlisted prizes, with a prize of RMB 10,000 per person (certificate), for a total of 240 awards.

2. Final awards and bonuses

There will be 5 first prizes in the final, with a prize of RMB 50,000 per person (certificate); 10 second prizes, with a prize of RMB 30,000 per person (certificate); and 15 third prizes, with a prize of RMB 20,000 per person (certificate)., a total of 30 awards.

In order to attract high-end overseas talent projects to the country, 5 best overseas talent project awards will be set for the finals of the competition, with a prize of RMB 20,000 per person (certificate).

3. Project Promotion Award

Rewards will be given to project recommending units or individuals, among which, each winner in the finals will be awarded 3,000 yuan; each winner in the finals and landed in Jinan within one year will be awarded 10,000 yuan.

policy support

The final-winning projects that have been implemented and transformed into Jinan within one year that meet the basic application conditions for policies related to the introduction of leading industrial talents in Jinan City will be directly included in the management of municipal key talent projects after on-site inspection and comprehensive demonstration, and will be given 1 million yuan to 3 million yuan in financial support. For landing projects, Jiyang District will be equipped with service specialists, open up green channels, comprehensively use talent science and technology support policies, industrial development support funds, land security policies, etc., to provide full life cycle tracking services in project registration, office space, enterprise planning, personnel recruitment, investment and financing guarantees, etc.
