In order to thoroughly implement the "Shanghai City Action Plan to Promote the Development of Green and Low-Carbon Industries The spirit of (2022-2025)", forming new momentum around the market demand of" six modernizations (energy cleaning, low-carbon raw materials, material functionalization, process efficiency, terminal electrification, resource recycling)"and focusing on" five new (new technologies, new processes, new materials, new equipment, new energy)", the Shanghai City Efficiency Center, with the support and guidance of the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, established the Shanghai City Green and Low-Carbon Industry Development Alliance. Members of the alliance cover green and low-carbon related enterprises, universities, scientific research institutes, financial institutions and other units. It aims to gather the strength of all parties and build a green and low-carbon industrial ecosystem with high-quality development.
The main tasks of the alliance include：

- Demonstration and promotion of product technology;

- Build a platform for technical exchanges and cooperation;

- Actively carry out consulting service activities;

- Systematically carry out publicity and science popularization activities.
In order to better integrate the development resources of green and low-carbon industries and create an exchange and cooperation platform covering the entire industry chain, it is now open to the city's leading technologies, high-end equipment, extreme energy efficiency, low-carbon metallurgy, new energy vehicles, hydrogen energy industry, green materials, and carbon trading. Top ten race-related companies and units, including carbon finance, carbon capture and applications, and smart grids, are publicly soliciting alliance members. Members do not charge membership dues.
