Since 2018, 127 countries and regions have proposed "carbon neutrality" goals or visions. On September 22, 2020, China announced its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. At present, all industries around the world are moving towards carbon neutrality. In today's international situation, countries have become more aware that the fields of climate change and carbon neutrality have become an important way and starting point for international cooperation. 400 multinational companies have launched the 2040 Zero Carbon Action. In 2019, Amazon called on global companies to reduce carbon emissions to net zero by 2040. Amazon was the first company to sign this important commitment. This is 10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement's 2050 target. As of February 28, 2023, a total of 404 companies around the world have signed the initiative. Driven by multinational vehicle companies and the active actions of parts and components giants, carbon neutrality in the supply chain will become a new trend in industrial development. Green energy, as an important way to achieve the carbon neutrality goal, has now become the core of carbon neutrality for various multinational companies. Measures, many multinational companies promise to achieve 100% green power use. The import and export trade of cities in the Yangtze River Delta is highly dynamic, and there are many multinational companies. Companies are eager to develop clean energy supply and use facilities such as solar energy, hydrogen energy, and biogas to obtain low-carbon energy supply and ensure the demand for carbon reduction. However, due to resource endowment limitations, the clean energy available for development and use in the Yangtze River Delta region is very limited. There is an urgent need for parks, enterprises and low-carbon related civil society organizations to conduct discussions on topics such as green power trading, power sales across walls, and corporate energy transformation. Promote the increase in the proportion of renewable energy used by enterprises. Therefore, Tianjin TEDA Low-Carbon Economy Promotion Center plans to jointly organize the "Renewable Energy Use and Trading" salon event with the Beijing Representative Office of the World Wide Fund for Nature (Switzerland). The event will be held at: > 2023年9月22日14:00-17:00
