The 3rd International Conference on Negative CO₂ Emissions, is hosted by CO₂RE - The Greenhouse Gas Removal Hub at the University of Oxford, with UKRI's financial support. Scheduled from Tuesday 18 to Friday 21 June 2024 at the Mathematical Institute, this conference builds on the success of the first two events held at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
This conference series, driven by the growing significance of Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR) in climate research and achieving climate targets, unites a diverse array of scientists, experts, and stakeholders. Spanning disciplines like science, engineering, policy, economics, and public perceptions, the event aims to disseminate cutting-edge GGR research, foster expert connections, and facilitate discussions on GGR's role in climate action and sustainable development.
CO₂RE encourage participation from various communities engaged in negative emissions, aiming for inclusive discussions that encompass a wide range of international expertise and perspectives, especially from underrepresented groups.
